Watchmaking in a Renaissance watch casing !
Located in a building dating back to 1576, the Musée de l'Horlogerie de Morteau offers you the opportunity to penetrate the mysteries
of time measurement. Tools, automata, clocks, watches and all kinds of cartels clocks from all periods will take you
on a journey through time. Groups will be guided through the museum by watchmakers and passionate historians. Did you know the first
timepieces had only one hand?
A unique collection in France! An educational video will teach you the entire history of time measurement. After your visit to the
Museum, you will look differently at your watch !

Opening times

From 1 May to 1 September: daily from 10am to 12am and 2pm to 6pm. Open the rest of the year, daily from 2pm to 6pm, except Saturday and Sunday.
